A Max-Pack+ includes 10-Cottage Lottery tickets, 50-50/50 tickets, 6-Cash Calendar tickets and 6-Wanderlust tickets for $950.

All tickets in a 3-Pack, 5-Pack, 10-Pack, Mega-Pack, Max-Pack, Mega-Pack+ and Max-Pack+ must contain the same information. Up to three (3) names can appear on a Cottage Lottery ticket. Only one (1) form of payment may be used per purchase.

Yes, per licensing (AGCO) rules, participation in the 50/50 Add-On is contingent upon a verified purchase of a Cottage Lottery ticket order. [See separate FAQs for more information about the 50/50 Add-On].

No, there is no requirement that you order a Cottage Lottery ticket to play the Cash Calendar or Wanderlust Lottery.

Yes, you can place your Cash Calendar or Wanderlust Lottery ticket orders at any time, while supplies are available, or prior to the ticket deadline of July 30, 2026.

The lottery is intended for Ontario residents. Ticket buyers must be in Ontario at the time of order and provide an Ontario mailing address.

The following individuals and all of their immediate family members residing in the same household are prohibited from ordering a ticket: Board members and employees of The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation; members of the UHN Board of Trustees and Executive Team; Princess Margaret Cancer Centre Executive Team; partners and employees of MNP LLP and its affiliates; and members of licensed gaming suppliers providing services to this program. 

The chances of winning any prize are approximately 1 in 33. There are 12,120 prizes.

Please allow 3-5 business days for your tickets to arrive by email or 7-10 business days for tickets by Canada Post. One week is allowed between the ticket sales cutoff and the start of the draws. This allows for all forms of payment to be verified and processed. Only tickets that have been paid for and/or have been verified as paid for are eligible to be entered for the respective draw(s). If for any reason a payment is returned, the ticket will be deemed invalid if payment cannot be verified prior to the start of the draws.

Mailed Tickets: Upon receipt and/or authorization of payment for your ticket order, you should receive your ticket(s) via Canada Post in 7-10 business days.

The prize cottages are in Haliburton, Blue Mountain and Muskoka.

No. All prizes are purchased by the Foundation using the tender process.

No. Prizes won are not taxable. Therefore, a ticket purchase cannot be used as a tax deduction.

Lottery winnings are considered a windfall and not taxable in Canada. If a real estate prize winner is not a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or otherwise exempted from Ontario’s Non-Resident Speculation Tax (NRST), the winner will be responsible for payment of the NRST.

Once a Cottage is awarded to the winner, they do not have to live in it. Any prize won can be sold if the winner wishes to do so.

Winning real estate is considered a lottery prize, not a capital gain. Lottery winnings are not taxable in Canada. We recommend that you contact a tax or legal professional with specific questions.

Prizes must be accepted as awarded, except where indicated in the brochure or online that there are cash alternatives. Cash alternatives exist for the following prizes: All vacations and vehicles. Please refer to PrincessMargaretLotto.com for details.

Yes. The official Lottery ticket is a Receipt of Purchase, but you do not need it in hand to be entered for the prize draws. To request a reprint of your ticket, please call 1-800-542-8813 or email [email protected].

The first draw will be for the VIP Prizes. Tickets ordered before the VIP Prize Deadline (June 19, 2026) will be eligible for all 12,120 draws. Tickets ordered after the VIP Prize Deadline but before the Early Prize Deadline will be eligible for 8,619 draws. Tickets ordered after the Early Bird Prize Deadline will be eligible for the remaining 8,618 draws. The final draw will take place after the Final Sales Deadline Midnight, July 30 or August 11, 2026.

Tickets eligible for the Princess Margaret Circle Membership Prize draw must be purchased before Midnight, July 30, 2026. The Princess Margaret Circle Membership Prize draw will be conducted on August 11, 2026. The Princess Margaret Circle Membership Prize is $25,000 cash. The Princess Margaret Circlel Membership prizes is for Princess Margaret Circle Members only.

*If all tickets are sold out by the Early Bird Prize Deadline of Midnight, July 17, 2026, then draws for all remaining prizes will be made on July 28, 2026, at approx. 8:00am at the offices of MNP LLP. The first draw would be for the Early Bird Prize, followed by draws for all remaining prizes starting with the lowest valued prize and concluding with the $2.5 Million Grand Prize.

The top valued prize winners and the Early Bird Prize winner will be announced on CP24 on July 29, 2026, between 7:00am and 6:00pm. 

**If all tickets are not sold prior to the Early Bird Deadline Midnight, July 17. 2026, then only the Early Bird Prize draw will take place on July 28, 2026, at approx. 8:00am at the offices of MNP LLP and the winner will be announced on CP24 Breakfast on July 29, 2026, between 7:00am and 9:00am. Marketing will continue to the Final Sales Deadline of Midnight, July 30, 2026.

The remaining prize draws will then be made on August 11, 2026, at approx. 8:00am at the office of MNP LLP starting with the lowest valued prize and concluding with the $2.5 Million Grand Prize. The top valued prize winners will be announced on CP24 on August 13, 2026, between 7:00am and 6:00pm.

No, the Cottage Lottery draws will not be televised live. The top valued prize winners will be announced live on CP24 on the applicable Cottage Lottery draw date pending sell out of the lottery.

All winners will be notified in writing as to what they have won and how to claim their prizes. A searchable list of winners will be posted online at PrincessMargaretLotto.com on Monday, August 3, 2026 (if draw is completed on July 28, 2026) or Monday, August 17, 2026 (if draw is completed on August 11, 2026). We ask that all winners claim their prizes within six (6) weeks if possible. Prizes must be claimed within six (6) months of the applicable draw date.

Arrangements may be made to have a prize shipped to you "freight collect", or if someone other than the winner will be claiming the prize on the winner’s behalf, the winner must provide written and signed authorization along with the original prize-winning letter.

For each 50/50 Add-On order placed in conjunction with your Cottage Lottery, one official ticket receipt will be issued. The ticket will list all ticket numbers assigned for Cottage Lottery and the 50/50 Add-On draw.

Per licensing body (AGCO) rules, 50/50 Add-On tickets must be assigned to the same ticketholder as the Cottage Lottery ticket. To order Cottage Lottery and 50/50 Add-On as a gift, simply advise us at the time of order who you would like to give the ticket to and provide the address of the giftee. *Giftee must be 18 years of age or older.

50/50 Add-On tickets will be assigned to the same ticketholder as the Cottage Lottery ticket. Up to three (3) names can appear on a Cottage Lottery ticket. Only one (1) form of payment may be used per order.

The Wanderlust Lottery Prizes consist of ten [10] prizes to be awarded with a total value of $500,000. All vacations are supplied by Able Travel and include air, transfers, taxes and accommodations. For each Wanderlust order placed, one official ticket receipt will be issued. The official ticket receipt will list 1, 3 or 6 ticket numbers.

The following individuals and all their immediate family members residing in the same household are prohibited from ordering a ticket: Board members and employees of The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, Members of the UHN Board of Trustees and Executive Team, Princess Margaret Cancer Center Executive Team; partners and employees of MNP LLP and its affiliates; and members of other licensed gaming suppliers providing services to this program.

Participants must be at least 18 years of age. Tickets cannot be ordered in the name of a minor.

All tickets in a 3-pack or 6-pack must contain the same information. Up to three (3) names can appear on one (1) ticket. Only one (1) form of payment may be used per purchase.

Up to three (3) names can appear on a Wanderlust Lottery ticket.

Yes. Wanderlust tickets can be gifted. To order as a gift, simply advise us at the time of order who you would like to give the ticket to and provide the address of the giftee. *Giftee must be 18 years of age or older.

Wanderlust Lottery is intended for Ontario residents. Ticket buyers must be in Ontario at the time of the order and provide an Ontario mailing address.

No. Prizes won are not taxable. Therefore, a ticket purchase cannot be used as a tax deduction.

No, there is no requirement that you order a Cottage Lottery ticket to play the Wanderlust Lottery.

Yes. You can place your Wanderlust ticket order at any time prior to the ticket deadline of July 30, 2026.

Mailed Tickets: Upon receipt and/or authorization of payment, you should receive your tickets(s) via Canada Post in 7-10 business days.

Emailed Tickets: Upon receipt and/or authorization of payment, you should receive your tickets(s) via email in 3-5 business days.

Yes. The official ticket is a receipt of purchase, but you do not need it in hand to be entered for the prize draws. All ticket numbers sold will be represented in the draw.

The Wanderlust Lottery Final Ticket Sales Deadline is Midnight, July 30, 2026.

*If the Wanderlust Lottery is sold out by the Lottery Early Bird Prize Deadline of Midnight July 17, 2026. Wanderlust draws will take place on July 28, 2026, at 8:00am at the offices of MNP LLP. MNP LLP will randomly select one (1) winner from among all eligible ticket numbers for each of the ten (10) Prizes.

**If the Wanderlust Lottery is sold out by the Cottage Final Ticket Sales Deadline of Midnight, July 30, 2026. The Wanderlust draws for the (10) Prizes will take place on August 11, 2026, at 8:00am at the offices of MNP LLP. MNP LLP will randomly select one (1) winner from among all eligible ticket numbers for each of the ten (10) Prizes.

Ticket fulfillment and draw control services are provided by MNP LLP. Draws will take place at the offices of MNP LLP, 1900-1 Adelaide St. E., Toronto, ON M5C 2V9. The records of MNP LLP shall be deemed correct and final. A certified Random Number Generator (RNG) will be used to conduct the draws. Yes. Each Wanderlust ticket number is entered for ALL the draws.

All winners will be notified in writing as to what they have won and how to claim their prize.

A searchable list of winners will be posted online at PrincessMargaretLotto.com on Monday, August 3, 2026, (if draw is completed on July 28, 2026) or Monday, August 17 (if draw is completed on August 11, 2026). Prize winners are asked to claim their prizes in a timely manner following notification. Any prizes which are not claimed shall be secured for a period of six (6) months from the date of the draw. Unclaimed prizes will be reported, and a charitable allocation will be approved by the licensing body. Travel must be completed within 12 months from the draw date. There is no requirement that vacation prize funds be used towards a travel purchase.

Lottery winnings are considered a windfall and not taxable in Canada.

Proceeds also support world-leading initiative in areas such as early detection, cancer mental health, cancer digital intelligence and clinical trials. Princess Margaret Wanderlust ticket orders may be cancelled prior to the commencement of the draws and will be refunded for the amount that was paid for the ticket. Once draws have begun, no refunds are permitted.

Time is allowed between the ticket sales cutoff and the start of the draws for all forms of payment to be verified and processed. Only tickets that have been paid for and/or have been verified as paid for are eligible to be entered for the respective draw(s).
